I am Darcey Hall, a professional dog trainer and behaviorist. I have dedicated the last fifteen years to training canines. I am CA P-O-S-T Certified and a Protection Sport Association (PSA) member. My PSA competition Belgian Malinois is named Schroeffe, which means Skrewball in Dutch. My passion is creating a bond between the owner and the dog to make an everlasting relationship. I love doing fun games to create a learning environment for the dog to retain their obedience. Specializing in advanced obedience and behavior modification, I am also an AKC Canine Evaluator for Canine Good Citizen certification, a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT), and am part of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP).

My name is Brookelynn Thompson. I am the General Manager at HOPE and I am blessed to be here and come to a job that I absolutely love every single day. Dogs and animals have been a passion since I was a little girl. My favorite Breed are Dalmatians. I have two, my service dog Bandit and my female Baylee Mae. My dogs are my life and getting to do a multitude of things in my position makes this the most rewarding job. Training has become a huge part of my life and getting to work with some of the most amazing people and clients daily, I couldn't ask for more! We are all one big family and this place and these dogs are a gift.

Hello, my name is Elias and I've been around dogs my whole life. Outside of work, I am with friends or family and all of my pets. I have 1 dog, 1 rabbit, and 3 cats. They are all my babies! Anything with 4 legs is hard not to love. I have been training since 2020. It all started with just walking friends and families dogs during the pandemic, and turned into training them for fun. During that time I found a passion in dog training. Watching a dog grow mentally and start to piece together how commands work then applying them to their everyday life is so fulfilling to me. Everyday I remind myself how blessed I am to be working my dream job.

Hi, my name is Jose, I’m a trainer at HOPE and I’ve been training dogs since 2020. What started as a passion quickly became a commitment to helping dogs and their owners build stronger, more reliable relationships through clear communication and effective training.

I enjoy working with dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. While I love helping puppies get started with a strong foundation, I also have extensive experience working with more challenging dogs, including those with behavioral issues, reactivity, poor manners, or training setbacks. Every dog is different, and I take pride in finding the right approach for each individual dog!

Hi, I’m Jae! I’ve been a professional dog trainer for over 11 years. I started out training service dogs for veterans and diabetic alert dogs, and today I compete in multiple dog sports. I love helping people and their dogs reach their full potential, usually with a lot of energy and a big smile (and maybe some loud encouragement along the way!).

Hi, My name is Madison. I am a trainer here at HOPE Dog Training. I have 6 dogs of my own and love animals more than anything. I also have a foster dog named Gary who is a Doberman mix looking for a home. My favorite part of training is creating a bond, building confidence in a dog and seeing them slowly coming out of their shell while they are here with us. The most rewarding thing at the end of the training is seeing them leave happily with the family they love.

Hi, I am Mike, Nice to meet you all! I have owned dogs my entire life. I am a former digital marketing specialist turned dog trainer. What started as a hobby became a passion that developed into a career. Following a relationship-based balance approach to training, I believe there are no bad dogs, only uneducated owners. I help bridge the gap between dog and owner to help people become dogs best friend.

Hello, My name is Alexis, I am a kennel Tech at HOPE. My love for dogs has always been a huge part of my life and I am currently on the road to veterinary school. I am here to ensure the safety of your fur babies as well as make them feel loved and cared for while they stay with us. I love taking pictures of their little faces so you can see just how much fun they are having. I have a 9 year old female Belgian Malinois and a 2 year old Rottie Lab mix! So, as a dog mom myself, I know how important it is to feel safe with the people we leave our babies with!

Meet Daniel Escobar. Daniel has been working with dogs for 9 years and has been with HOPE since our opening. Daniel has had Rottweilers his whole life and currently has one male, Django, and one female, Domino. Before working with HOPE, Daniel taught Domino to fetch. Later he found out that retrieving items is actually a requirement for service animals. Now he wishes that he would have trained his dog to retrieve his phone. Daniel is known for being patient and compassionate with dogs and owners. He enjoys helping them get what they can't on their own.

Hi everyone, my name is Matthew Acosta and I have been a part of the HOPE Dog Training team for about five months now as a kennel technician. My job includes keeping our facility clean, comfortable, and fun while making sure each pup gets their daily photo updates sent to their owners. I have an English Bulldog named Meelo at home which has helped me learn patience and confidence when working with some of the more stubborn or strong-willed breeds here. I love getting to know each dog's personality and making sure they fell safe and cared for while they are with us.
